Ruby is a beautiful, strong, solid doe that carries herself very nicely. She is a great mother and loves her babies. I love her topline and her feminine face. Even though they meet breed standards, I would like to see her ears a bit more upright. She has 4 teats and while this is a fault I personally dislike, many aren't bothered by it at all. I decided not to throw out a lovely goat because of this one flaw and I breed carefully to prevent this from being passed on. She has never passed this to her offspring born here at CMR. I can't speak for any kids born before she arrived here. She isn't a show goat but she has great characteristics that would be a shame to lose. Although her coat isn't very full, she can really throw it. She has a nice, wide horn set. She is a very easy keeper that keeps her weight on through weaning and very rarely needs de-wormed. Her good points outweigh her flaws by miles. Over all, I am very proud to have Ruby in my herd.
